Description
Varietal: Made with 100% Listán Negro grapes, hand-harvested from old vines grown in volcanic soils. The grapes are fermented with wild yeasts and aged in large oak barrels for 8 months. No filtration or fining is done, ensuring the wine's natural flavors and aromas are preserved.
Taste: Tajinaste 'Tradicional' Tenerife Tinto 2020 is a deep ruby color in the glass. On the nose, it has intense aromas of black cherry, blackberry, and violet, along with hints of earth and minerality. On the palate, it is medium-bodied with silky tannins, flavors of dark fruit, and a long, smooth finish. This wine is a great representation of the volcanic terroir of Tenerife and pairs well with grilled meats or hearty stews.
