Description

WoW Factor: To prepare for taking over winery operations, Eva attended the Vino-HAK (a combination of viticulture school and commercial academy) and went on to study International Business Administration.

Varietal: 100% Zweigelt

From 55 hectares of estate vineyards located in Austria’s biggest wine growing village, Langenlois in the Kamptal region. The wine is produced in the traditional bottle fermentation method. The base wine ages in stainless steel, followed by second fermentation on the lees in bottle. 5.4 grams of residual sugar are left, making this a dry style of sparkling wine.

Tasting Notes: Dark red color and incredibly dense, a mature nose with plenty of cherries. The lively mousse forms an exciting contrast to the rich red fruit on the palate, including notes of cherries, plums, and herbs. Red sparkling wine - unconventional and rare but thoroughly pleasant and seductive in its dry finish.
