Racines "Sainte Rose" Santa Rita Hills Pinot Noir 2019
Description
Varietal: Made from 100% estate-grown grapes sourced from the Santa Rita Hills appellation in Santa Barbara County, California. The grapes were hand-harvested and carefully sorted before being fermented with native yeasts in small batches. The wine was aged in French oak barrels, with 40% new oak, for 14 months to enhance its complexity and structure.
Taste: Racines "Sainte Rose" Santa Rita Hills Pinot Noir 2019 has a deep ruby color in the glass. On the nose, it offers aromas of ripe black cherries, raspberry jam, and subtle hints of vanilla and cinnamon. The palate is elegant and silky, with flavors of blackberry, plum, and a touch of leather. The tannins are firm but well-integrated, providing a long and satisfying finish. This wine has great aging potential and will continue to develop for years to come.
