Sourced from Oakville Ranch vineyard, high above the eastern hills of Napa Valley at an elevation of 1,400 ft above sea level.

Tasting Notes: Gripping, structured tannins and mineral and tobacco leaf characteristics that reflect their high-altitude, volcanic, hillside terroir. Gorgeous color in the glass - a deep, dark purple with an electric pink rim. The palate is velvety and lush with fresh red raspberries, red plum, and blackberry compote, highlighted by cinnamon, clove, and a touch-of-caramel finish. This wine is singing right now with great balance and texture!

About Patria Wines: A new, small production project by famed Anthony (Tony) Biagi, former winemaker of Plumpjack wines and current consultant for Cade Winery. A 5th generation Northern Californian and graduate of UC Davis, in 1992 Tony Biagi began his first harvest internship. After years of refining his craft, he realized dreams of his own winery with partner Kimberly Jones, establishing Patria ("homeland") in 2013.
