Tasting Notes: The 2019 vintage shows delicate aromas of blue flower, red currant, cranberry and potting soils. A classic Sangiovese palate of cherry and strawberry fruit, along with leafy underbrush and rosemary accents, is set apart by silky, elegant tannins framing the lasting tasting experience.

About La Ragnaie: Riccardo Campinoti acquired the property in 2002 with his wife Jennifer to fulfill his dream of making owning and producing wine in Tuscany. With some of the highest elevation vineyards found in Montalcino (in areas also famous for bird-catchers), the estate derives its name from the Italian word "ragna", based on the traditional bird-catching net's similarity to a spider web (also featured on the label). Though renown for a bold, yet refined style, he also is lauded for his early conversion and dedication to organic viticulture.
