Tasting Notes: A fresh nose, expressive of beautiful tenacity. Floral notes, aromatic herbs with a subtle touch of candied fruit with intoxicating and captivating spice. The palate presents itself with a juice of elegant substance, revealing a tone of blood orange and cinnamon in the mid-palate, completed by a complex finish due to the Sylvaner providing a long and straight acidity - Arthur Ostertag
An elegantly complex yet approachable expression for those new to Orange/"skin-contact" wines.

About Domaine Ostertag: Considered to be a "start-up" in Alsace (where domaines go back 10+ generations), André Ostertag’s father established their estate in 1966 on the edge of the town Epfig (between Strasbourg and Colmar). Taking over the estate in 1980 when he returned home to Alsace after training in Burgundy, André Ostertag has since become revolutionary to the region. He pioneered new viticultural and vinification techniques from other regions in Alsace, producing wines with a hyper-focus on terroir. Ostertag has been biodynamic since 1997 and still continues to be an active member of the natural farming community.
