Description
Varietal: Made from 100% Chardonnay grapes, grown in the Arbois region of Jura. The grapes are hand-harvested and then fermented with natural yeasts in oak barrels. The wine is aged on its lees for 12 months, which gives it a rich texture and depth of flavor.
Taste: The "Patchwork" Chardonnay has a pale gold color in the glass, with aromas of green apple, pear, and a touch of lemon zest. On the palate, the wine is medium-bodied with a bright acidity and flavors of fresh apple, citrus, and a subtle hint of vanilla. The finish is long and crisp, with a mineral-driven backbone that showcases the unique terroir of Jura.
