Demarie Barbera d'Alba Superiore 2021

Varietal: 100% Barbera. The grapes are grown in organic vineyards in Alba, which is a sub-region of Piedmont in northern Italy. The wine is made by maceration for 7-8 days at 28°C, followed by gentle pressing, fermentation and aging in oak barrels for 12 months.

Taste: A red wine that showcases the fruitiness and smoothness of Barbera from Alba. It has a ruby-red color with purple hues and a fruity nose of cherry, blackberry and plum. The palate is medium-bodied and velvety, with flavors of red fruits, spice and vanilla. The finish is long and harmonious, with soft tannins and a touch of acidity.
