Description

Varietal: 100% Sauvignon Blanc

Grown at the Estate Vineyard from 30+ year old vines, the site is the second oldest established vineyard in the Ribbon Ridge ava and oldest Sauvignon Blanc vines in Willamette Valley. Partial malolactic fermentation and aged in 1-3 year old Acacia wood barrels to provide greater and rounder texture and accentuate natural floral aromatics and "lemony" flavors.

-

Tasting Notes: The older vines present a denser, richer, more stately expression the Sauvignon Blanc grape. The 2023 version plays off the richness of melons, limes, lychee and tropical fruits like papaya. It is at once very high in acidity and rich in texture which creates tension and complexity in the wine even at a young age.

While this wine is capable of aging we believe it is best served in its relative youth to capture these fresh and delicious flavors.
