Château Marquis d'Alesme Becker Margaux 2020
Description
Varietal: A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon (50%), Merlot (35%), Petit Verdot (10%), and Cabernet Franc (5%) grapes, sourced from the 15-hectare estate vineyard. After hand harvesting, the grapes undergo a meticulous sorting process and are then fermented in stainless steel tanks. The wine is then aged for 18 months in oak barrels, 50% of which are new.
Taste: In the glass, Château Marquis d'Alesme Becker Margaux 2018 presents a deep, ruby color. On the nose, aromas of dark fruit, such as blackberry and cassis, are complemented by hints of vanilla and oak. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied with ripe tannins and flavors of blackberry, black currant, and a touch of spice. The finish is long and complex, with lingering notes of black fruit and a hint of tobacco. Enjoy now or cellar for several years for added complexity.
